## Amex Platinum Global Dining Credit — How It Works

Amex Platinum cardholders receive an annual dining credit usable at participating restaurants worldwide. Your credit amount is set by the market that issued your card, not where you dine — so you can use a UK credit in Paris, Tokyo or New York. Enrol via the Amex app before dining; dine-in only; no rollover between periods. Runs until 31 December 2026.

### Credit Amounts by Market
- United Kingdom: £400/yr (£100 per half (local) + £100 per half (abroad))
- United States: $400/yr (Resy) ($100 per quarter at 10,000+ Resy restaurants)
- Australia: A$400/yr (A$200 local + A$200 abroad dining credit)
- Canada: CA$200/yr (Single CA$200+ transaction triggers credit)
- Hong Kong: HK$1,000/yr (HK$500 per half-year (local + abroad))
- Singapore: S$200/yr + Table for Two (S$200 Global Dining + complimentary dining 6x/yr)
- Thailand: ฿7,000/yr (฿3,500 per half-year (local + abroad))
- New Zealand: NZ$300/yr (NZ$150 credit per qualifying NZ$150+ transaction, up to 2x/yr)

## Amex Dining Cashback (UK Only)

Amex Dining Cashback (UK only) gives 10% back for Gold and 20% for Platinum/Centurion at 600+ UK restaurants, capped at £500 total. It is separate from the Platinum Dining Credit and can be combined ("double-dip") at participating restaurants. Enrolment required via Amex Offers.
